Deado has been my project since late 2007, and started out with many songs that I'd written years before the band formed. I'd been in several bands already in central FL, including Big Bang Theory and Red Level 9, and decided it was time to write and record my own music rather than follow someone else's vision. Horror movie scores are a big influence on the music, as well as bands such as Type O Negative, Fear Factory, Black Sabbath, Danzig and the Misfits. The goal of this band was always to blend a heavy underground horror rock sound with catchy riffs and choruses that people could sing along to, with some tongue in cheek lyrics and also the band's unique take on the world.
