Dead Set Radio is a five piece Perth-based band. Dead Set Radio's genre is a hard one to define, they seem to have created their own style close to "Pop Metal". Heavy, melodic, intelligent music with soaring female vocals layered on top.
Since forming in September 2011 and making their debut performance in November at the Railway Hotel, they've slammed the Perth Rock scene with their catchy tunes and mesmerizing lead breaks. They've already shared the stage with bands like Voyager, Empires Laid Waste, Hostile Little Face, Law of Attraction, Legacy of Supremacy and One Armed Scissor.
They have already gained a following with their energetic stage performances and an unforgettable EP titled "Resigned to this Fate" purchasable from iTunes and at live gigs in hardcopy. Recorded and Mixed by Jake Leaney at Crank Studios Northbridge and Mastered by James Hewgill, this loud 5-track EP has something for everyone and was intended to show off Dead Set Radio's versatility and talent.
