Biography

DEAD SONS got together in the Spring of 2010, inspired by Tom waits, Nick Cave and a host of early Blues and Country music they spent months locked up in a cave of a studio working on their sound. Announcing their arrival at their first show to a capacity crowd at Tramlines Festival, they then went on to host their own sell out gig at the Montgomery Theatre and release their debut official white label of highly acclaimed 'I AM THE LORD' supported by a UK tour.

The release of second single JUNK ROOM coincided with their biggest ever gig supporting the Arctic Monkeys at a custom made tent at Don Valley Bowl in June 2011 and their third single 'BERLIN' coincided with huge gigs at the main stage of Tramlines Festival a Club NME show at London's infamous KOKO.

The band will be recording an EP early september 2011 with Ross Orton, who has previously worked with the likes of The Kills, Jarvis Cocker, The Arctic Monkeys, The Fall, M.I.A and Toddla T. The release date for the EP is the 10.10.11 and this will coincide with our UK tour though October/Noverember 2011.
