Bio
An eclectic duo, the group consists of Prashant Bhatnagar and Piyush Bhatnagar. They have more than their surnames in common. A passion for music drew the two souls together and before long, Deaf Bass Twins was born.
The duo had a successful debut gig at the Holi Cow Festival 2009 alongside other well known electronica acts like Jalebee Cartel and East India Company among others.
Composer and DJ, Prashant is currently working on his solo debut album which includes working with artists like Smriti Minocha, flute maestro Ajay Prasanna and Udyan Sagar aka Nucleya. His music has a universal appeal. Prashant has performed with well known artist Udyan Sagar of Bandish Projekt in clubs like Zenzi and Rock Bottom in Mumbai as well as the famous ht-spots of Delhi.
Sound Engineer, Producer and DJ, Piyush Bhatnagar aka 'Sound Avtar' is a master at blending elements of Indian music with western percussion beats. Having completed a diploma in Sound Engineering from SAE (School of Audio Engineering), Mumbai, Piyush derives his inspiration for creating music essentially from electronic beats.
Piyush has performed with a number of national and international acts including B.L.O.T., Helium Projekt, and DJ Arnold among others.
