I am a producer, engineer and songwriter with over 10 years experience. One day I decided to make a record of my own called 'Deadline'. Now I'm giving it out to the world.

Biography

My real name is Phill but my mates call me Deaks.

I'm a producer/engineer who decided to get in front of a microphone and make a record. The songs on my album 'Deadline' cover my life up to now. Mainly I like to impart my experiences in an honest way and to share my feelings through music. When I'm working I try to focus on sonically representing an idea in the truest sense possible.

I shy away from our recent obsession to be omnipresent and I'd rather just give you my music for the pure purpose that you might enjoy and take something worthwhile from it, whatever that may be.

I'm a fairly ordinary kind of guy. I don't have any emotional turmoil in my life or wild stories to tell but I Love to write and record music. It's that simple and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do making it.

Green Eyes Blue Mirror

Written By: Phillip James Deacon, Christopher Ian Nicoll

Green Eyes Blue Mirror,
Alone in sunlight and I still shiver,
So I pull a coat up off the door,
And brush my eyes slow turning raw.

At this minute I feel,
A deeper sense of history,
Those words cut like glass,
Busy streets feel empty,
Moonlight in a sinner's city,
Mental pictures I keep,
Show a time when all clouds were faded,
Now I'm finding new shelter,
But everything seems wrong.

Your words seemed obvious,
My passion jaded,
Won't be saved enough to feel that again
My smile ridiculous,
Unbalanced and envious,
Begins to fade.

In the crowds I see faces,
So many come from,
Familiar, unsettled places,
Where will I be next time you call?
And when will our eyes meet in silence,
Again to become whole?

At this moment I feel,
A restless fear of uncertainty,
Your words cut like glass,
Now the streets feel empty,
Moonlight makes the sinners pretty,
And all the pictures I keep,
Show a time when your smile claimed them,
Now I'm finding new shelter,
And a way to carry on.

When this whole thing started,
Our world seemed perfect without end,
But will I feel that again?

It wasn't written in stone,
But no one should be alone,
Yet the days still carry on.

Another day a kick in the head,
Another colour but I see red,
Another way to stay in bed,
Another girl to Love instead,
Another lover but I see you,
Another dream and hope that it comes true.

I got a message on my phone today,
She's found a new place,
That's near to my own,
So with a smile on my face,
I dialed those numbers to break her tone,
And with my voice sounding nervous,
Can this damage be undone?

Right Side Of Bizarre

Written By: Phillip James Deacon

Something happened whilst I wasn't watching,
A lack of concentration left me bare,
So I could see through,
The film which coated my eyes became clear revealing you.

I wasn't looking for someone to cling to,
I didn't need a partner to be there,
But with you I knew,
I'm glad your intuition is a gift which chose me too.

You fill my holes and heal my wounds,
You make feel like I can be open to you,
I'm not afraid of any questions that need asking,
You made me see that someone's soul could be beautiful,
Without masking who they are,
These feelings are the right side of bizarre.

You accept me just the way that I am,
I don't feel that have to change at all,
When I am with you,
There's no need for the games we play which make Love feel confused,
Now that I'm with you,
There's no need for the games we play which make Love feel confused.

You fill my holes and heal my wounds,
You make feel like I can be open to you,
I'm not afraid of any questions that need asking,
You made me see that someone's soul could be beautiful,
Without masking who they are,
These feelings are the right side of bizarre.
