The cycle... Life is a cycle of happiness, love, disappointment, hate and forgiveness, a chain reaction if you will. At 12 I experienced my first heartbreak which prompted me to write my first poem entitled "In My Room". This was when I descoved my love for music and the healing power it possessed. Ever since then I have remained loyal to my emotions, my pen and my paper as they have never betrayed me.
It's funny how true my analogy is, life is a cycle, a repetition of what happened before and the revelation of what will inevitably come, only like a suspensful movie, the plot thickens and there's a slight twist. Through my teen years, I wrote a number of songs, roughly 35-30 as ideas and melodies oozed out of my pores, but it was when I moved to Georgia to begin "my life" did I truely understand my capabilities. Life and all of its glory is magnified in the eye of death.
Ballads seem to be my specialty. Heartfelt, deeprooted songs speak to me; I'd have to say that I draw my inspiration from that. I am able to write in all fields as well. I think what sets me apart from other songwriters is my ability to feel almost tangibly what I am writing and exude that reality and emotion through my lyrics and melodies.
