Bio
Dearborn is the new band project from Portland native, Natalie Closner.
Natalie returned to the northwest after spending time writing and playing in Nashville (12th & Porter) and Los Angeles (Viper Room, Hollywood Renaissance Hotel) where she finished an EP called "Pseudo Love," and worked as a studio session singer
After going on two national tours to promote Pseudo Love, she invited twin sisters Meegan and Allie to join the crew. So now, with a full length recording project called Nouns to be released in November, so begins Dearborn.
The resulting sounds are influenced by the music and songwriting of Brandi Carlile, Metric, Death Cab for Cutie, Ray Lamontagne, Sara Bareilles, Florence And The Machine, Rihanna, Ingrid Michaelson, Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, The Civil Wars, Sufjan Stevens, Feist, Paramore, and Joni Mitchell. Put it in a blender with some sister harmonies and twenty-something angst (wisdom?) and this is what comes out.
