"PREMIERE : RUNNERS"

Digging every chance to boost up my experience reviewing music, the following post apparently is another golden ticket to secure what's intended. Wouldn't say that Cloudberry Mornings all this time were zero-occupied on premieres, but I'm so wrapped in delight that sequent gripping dénouement exclusively starts right here.

It's all about RUNNERS, an emerging quintet from Los Angeles playing simply ecstatic indie rock. Their luxurious mane, a hotspur streak and lots of young colt energy running through them has yielded good result on their ineffable debut single, Up Against The Wall, taken off their self-titled four-track mini album. Single officially comes out September 2nd.

Listening with rapt attention, further falling into deep sonic limerence and now shouting lustre words due the cross of penetrating guitars and drums, loosening melody segments and stalwart vocals, I've become instantly a true zealot of it. Ending up in a track that makes everything just work up, it thunders and gives all I need. Obviously, being fresh off a vigorous run on the fields, RUNNERS are that new band you shall never let you pass, yet you shall never miss them out. - Cloudberry Mornings

"PREMIERE: RUNNERS – UP AGAINST THE WALL"

Debuting their first single ‘Up Against The Wall’ is Runners; an indie rock five some from Los Angeles formed by Kyle Buckley, Renzo Bravo, Chris Wood, Nicholas Caceres, Ryan Wood.
An array of musical influences has created the free spirited Runners’ sound. One that is full of catchy melodies, and explorative harmonies. - Indietronica

"RUNNERS - "Up Against the Wall" Premier"

We have the pleasure of premiering “Up Against The Wall” by Los Angeles based Runners. The band formed last year and consists of Kyle Buckley, Nicholas Caceres, Renzo Bravo, Ryan Wood and Chris Wood.

“Up Against The Wall” is an upbeat rock track with a serious lyrical tone. The track is off of their forthcoming self-titled debut EP and has a bit of an 80s rock vibe yet is still fresh for today. The bands influences vary and at times can be spontaneous which creates a unique listening experience. Their writing style is a process of evolution as it is usually born out of a simple idea, basic harmonies, and a rough melody outline. Arrangements are then reworked by all members.

This collaborative effort is a promising one for this new and emerging band. We look forward to hearing more from RUNNERS and will be on the look out for their upcoming debut EP. - The Revue

"RUNNERS - Up Against the Wall"

A pretty fresh debut track from alt punk-rock outfit Runners out of LA, "Up Against The Wall" features a high energy intro with a couple sweet riffs, catchy phrasing, and an attitude reminiscent of Australian-based Them Bruins. Runners amps up the energy for the chorus, and again for the bridge, for a very Heading For The Harrows feel followed by a breakdown featuring some picking and ambient synth before closing out with the chorus again.

A pretty bumping jam with a lot of good going on, especially for a band at such an early stage in their career. In fact, today's the first day you can purchase their music online, so make sure to do that. To Runners: great start, keep it coming! - RAC Digital Arts College
