"Aktive Students Forening, Bergen - Deathbed Reunion"

Rogaland, What the Heck! Many fine and hardcore types have really begun to put the oil district on the musical map again. Deathbed Reunion is perhaps one of the youngest in the wolf pack, but the four 18-year-olds from Sandnes shows promise.

Deathbed Reunion plays a successful hybrid of hardcore and more accessible, modern rock. It sounds frantic, playful, bone hard and desperate. If we draw some red threads to Norwegian sources of inspiration, is probably Dominic and the legendary The Spectacle relatively nearby reference points. If Deathbed Reunion can transfer a fraction of the intensity and interaction from the disc to the stage in the Mirror Hall, we have nothing less than a legendary evening in front of us. - ASF SUB

"Pyro selects the most promising bands in Norway 2011"

Fresh hardcore from Sandnes / Stavanger with enough melodic elements that many people could take a liking in this very promising band. Not too hard, not too soft. Perfect for festival. Perfect for you. Check Deathbed Reunion via their Urørt page, and see and hear the by all means fine Part IV The Serious Part. Video and stuff! - P3 Pyro

""Another dangerously good band from Stavanger""

Purified In Blood led the way, Kvelertak took it further ... the latest band out there that really captivates Pyro’s ears are Deathbed Reunion. -Another dangerously good band from Stavanger.

A gang of 18-year-olds who play a stunning kind of punk / hardcore that only requires you to listen to. Do it. Check out Deathbed Reunion if you like it as much as we do. - P3 Pyro

"Review of the old EP (2011) 8/10"

Translated part of a review:

As they say in technical terms, Deathbed Reunion has crossover potential. The music is varied enough for a large amount of people to appreciate, not just hardcore punk motherfuckers.

8/10 - Ny Musikk Hver Dag

Bio

The band came together in the summer of 2010 to play music, and suddenly a fresh and honest sound was in the making. This led to the self-released, and self-titled, EP being dropped online as soon as the following winter melted away. After great recommendations by NRK Urørt (the national radio show for new and talented artists), a music video, multiple P3 Pyro (national radio show for rock and metal) articles and radioplays and great reviews on blogs and websites, Deathbed Reunion had already made a name for themselves. P3 Pyro even elected Deathbed Reunion as one of the most promising Norwegian bands to emerge in 2011!
