Deathface

Deathface

BandAlternativeRock

Disco prog-rock metal indie funk from outer space.

Biography

Brooklyn-based Deathface was formed in the spring of 2005. Mixing styles and tastes, the band developed a unique sound that contains both a sharp, aggressive edge, and a honed ability for the subtleties of intricate songwriting.

Deathface's sound pulls much from the indie rock scene of New York City, but also introduces elements from influences as diverse as classic rock, metal, pop, progressive, funk, disco, burritos, kittens, and trench warfare.

Deathface's collaborative songwriting process yields songs that are truly the band's creations, rather than the brainchild of any one member. They currently reside in the New York City metro area, and have played in various venues in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Their first album, Safety First, is scheduled to be released in May of 2008.

Discography

Deathface's debut LP, entitled Safety First, is scheduled to be released in May of 2008.
