"Bossa Nova"

No braço dessa viola ( Dea Trancoso )

Eng. Déa Trancoso connects with amazing mastery, the tradition and the contemporary, keeping alive the tradition that wants to be closer to us more and more. She keeps away the attention on herself. The focus is not who is singing or playing, but what is singing to who is singing. We leave the show blessed, pure, honoured”. (Celi Márcio, writter/Minas Gerais)

Fr. - http://blogs.periodistadigital.com/aeu.php/2008/11/14/p202638

THE SINGER
“Déa, you sing so beautifully! I like your voice very much, it has breath, constriction, is truthful. When his singing in the bass tone scale, has other personality, feels like a mother singing…” (Egberto Gismonti, musician/Rio de Janeiro)
THE CD
TUM TUM TUM is the result of ten years of research on popular culture by Singer Déa Trancoso. The CD will presents songs from Catimbó, Semba, Congado, Folia, Terreiro, Cozinha and Rua. The rich rhythm and the mix of different music style, makes TUM TUM TUM a sacred Oasis of songs and ritualistic “mantras, introducing a Brazil that is so obvious and so unknown for most for us.
THE SHOW
“The Show TUM TUM TUM make us to perceive what only some artists can do, those who are available to be as an instrument, as a channel of a message, a revelation. It is what Clarice Lispector name as “here & now”. The “here & now” in TUM TUM TUM makes the music to be born exactly there, even if it was composed 100 years ago.
THE WORKSHOP “BODY AND VOICE” works through games and fun combining body and voice on alternative and simultaneous way.
