A live Debbie and Friends show is a trip for the entire family—a joyful jaunt through a variety of styles, from straight-ahead pop, to country, to rock, to reggae, all delivered by a band of musicians who are clearly there because they love it. Kids become the Big Bad Wolf and blow the house down, fix Rosie’s wrong rhymes, and test their skills with the Simon Sez Song. Like everyone’s favorite teacher, Debbie connects with her audience and respects kids for the people they are, and her warmth is sincere and her radiance downright contagious.

What kids love is her energy, her sunshine, and the interesting array of musicians she brings to each show, including keyboard, all sorts of hand percussion, energetic and sometimes zany backing vocalists, saxophones, banjo, fiddle, flute, whistles—you name it. Every show is different. Kids love being active participants in every song, and the audience is as much a part of the show as Debbie and her band.

Available as a 5-piece band or trio. Perfect for audiences with kids ages 1-8.

Three Pigs and a Wolf

Written By: Debbie Cavalier

The first piggy made a house of straw
The finest straw you ever saw.
Then one day the wolf came by
He knocked three times (x x x)
For the pigs inside (x x x), he said,

Knock, Knock, Knock, Let me in
I don’t care ‘bout the hair on your chinny, chin, chin
I can huff and puff and blow your house in
Whoooooooo!------------

And the walls came tumbling down and the
Wolf ran in
(and the piggy ran to his brother’s house)

The second piggy made a house of wood
The finest wood in the neighborhood
Then one day, the wolf came by
He knocked three times (x x x)
For the pigs inside (x x x), he said,

Knock, Knock, Knock, Let me in
I don’t care ‘bout the hair on your chinny, chin, chin
I can huff and puff and blow your house in
Whoooooooo!-----------

And the walls came tumbling down and the
Wolf ran in
(and the piggy ran to his sister’s house)

The third piggy made a house of brick.
The finest brick it was strong and thick.
Then one day, the wolf came by.
He knocked three times (x x x)
For the pigs inside (x x x), he said

Knock, Knock, Knock, Let me in
I don’t care ‘bout the hair on your chinny, chin, chin
I can huff and puff and blow your house in
Whoooooooo!------------
Whoooooooo!------------
Whoooooooo!------------

Well he huffed and puffed as hard as he could,
But the house stood still! (YEAH!!!)

So when you build a house for yourself, USE BRICKS!

Hangin' Around

Written By: Debbie Cavalier

A school of fish
A flock of birds
A brace of ducks
A swarm of bees
A clutch of chicks
A pack of dogs
A gaggle of geese

So many names for animal friends
I want to learn ‘em all
Let’s do it again!

A pounce of cats
A knot of toads
A sloth of bears
A span of mules
A mob of cows
A herd of sheep
A litter of pigs

What do you call those animal friends hanging around?

A tower of giraffes
A parliament of owls
An army of frogs
(hup 2, 3, 4, hup 2, 3, 4)
A band of gorillas
A crash of rhinoceros

So many names for animal friends
I want to learn ‘em all
Let’s do it again!

A school of fish
A flock of birds
A brace of ducks
A swarm of bees
A clutch of chicks
A pack of dogs
A gaggle of geese

So many names for animal friends
It’s fun to learn ‘em all
Get to know your animal friends
Hangin’ around with, animal friends!

Willy Won't

Written By: Debbie Cavalier

Willy won’t, Willy won’t, smile for the camera
He makes a silly face instead
Willy won’t, Willy won’t, Smile for the camera
Will he smile, for a while?
No, no, no

We’d like to put your picture in a frame
And people who come to see it will exclaim
He’s a handsome boy with
Beautiful eyes
Can you tell us please
Why he didn’t choose to a smile?

Willy won’t, Willy won’t, smile for the camera
He makes a silly face instead
Willy won’t, Willy won’t, Smile for the camera
Will he smile, for a while?
No, no, no

We’d like to ask you, Willy, to explain
Why the silly picture in the frame?
You’re a handsome boy with
Beautiful eyes
Can you tell us please
Why you didn’t choose to a smile?

Will’s Part: I like to make you Smile
I like to make you smile
Silly faces make smiles
And I made you smile.
I made you smile

Willy won’t, Willy won’t, smile for the camera
He makes a silly face instead
Willy won’t, Willy won’t, Smile for the camera
Will he smile, for a while?
No, no, no
