"Deborah"

I am a native of New Orleans, La. residing in Atlanta, Georgia producing a sound of smooth and senuous sounds of R&B, hip-hop, and rap. I have a sound of my own that is appealing to the ear. I have been singing for along time, and have had some recording experience and stage experience with singing with a band before. My very first recording was with Knight Studios in New Orleans. The recording was done at Malaco studios in Jackson, Mississippi. Please see my website for more information about Deborah. My performances in Atlanta, Georgia include the Sweet Auburn Festival 2005, Pre-Auburn Festi val @Maestros, various night club venues, Gwinnette Place Mall Performance for National Film and Fashion Board of Models, Gwinnett Arena(singing the National Anthem, Performances in New Orleans Louisiana and more. Recently Deborah has also been apart of the film industry appearing as extras in movies such as "Proud Mary", "ATL", "We are Marshalls". A few of Deborah's musical performances in Atlanta were The Sweet Auburn Festival which is held 3 times each year. Deborah was a finalist in the competition in Hopewell, Virginia sponsored by radio station 1340WHAP called "The Hottest New Artist. Deborah did a live performance in Hopewell for 1340 WHAP and has had her single "Phenomenal Woman" airplayed on their station. Deborah has been spending her time perfecting herself by recording new music written by her, and performing for weddings, graduations, and The Gwinnett Braves Baseball games singing the National Anthem.
During the month of April/2010 Deborah not only worked on writing two more songs, but she had the opportunity to travel to New Orleans for some performances to keep her vocals active. The project that Deborah is in the process of putting together is a full length CD with all of her songs that are totally written by her.
