Deborah Alison's track Is It Love was selected for the First All Canadian Reggae compilation, produced by Canadian Reggaeworld.com.
Deborah Alison is the Toronto International Reggae Music Award winner for Lovers Rock, Female artist of the year, 2004-2005 for her single Is It Love.
Deborah Alison is a multitalented artist she sings, writes all of her own music, plays guitar and has the ability to captivate an audience with her smooth sound. Her style of singing has been described as smooth and seductive. She combines the rich alto tones of her voice with commentary about the times we are living in. Her ability to weave text and melody together and her unique tone produces an everlasting impression.
Memorable lines from her lyrical content urge us to reflect on the times we live in and make a difference if we can. Her catalogue includes such titles as: Peace Begins With Me, Pray, No Apologies, Spiritual SoulJahs, Chant Down Babylon, and many more songs of inspiration, love and resistance.
