Deborah Scherer

I've been writing since I was 9 years old, and each song reflects experiences since then. I definitely went through my tween/college phase, where everything was about boys, finding true love, and finding my path. Now that I'm older, I find it easier to write about those subjects, but more importantly, I became a Pediatric RN 6 years ago, and I realized that empathy is my strength. I find it fulfilling to put myself in someone else's shoes and write songs from another individual's perspective. I feel I have something to share, and the fact that I'm in love with possibility gave me the courage to try.
