Lyrics

Kilkenny's

Written By: Deborah Wyndham

It seems I've fallen again
in this lonely night I find a friend
though I'll be back I can't say when
I'm going to the only place for when it's the end

When the lights are down I go
upon the town and drive around
until I'm found at Kilkenny's
don't really wanna go there
but I know the folks there and I know there will be many
like me, like me

Well there's no point in feeling small, I see no point
in gazing at the wall
there's no point in going there at all, but it's the only place for when I fall

When the lights are down I go upon the town and drive around
until I'm found at Kilkenny's, don't really wanna go there, it's not a place for which I care, but it's the only place to be, the only place to be

ahhh, etc.

When the lights are down I go upon the town and drive around, until I'm found at Kilkenny's, don't really wanna go there, but I know the folks there and I know there will be many, like me, like me

ohhh, ah ah, etc.

Don't Play With My Heart

Written By: Deborah Wyndham

You can play the game of life
to see if you'll win
you can play the devil's wheel
to see how you'll feel
or you can go back to your art
but don't play with my heart

We could play some tunes tonight
we could listen in delight
at least we have a place to start
but don't play with my heart

Now I've seen the pretty girl you wanted
I hear my voice when she speaks
Maybe she's the girl in me you asked for
That I never gave to you

Now you've learned my weakest parts
now you know what I'm like but still, that doesn't give you the right to be tearing me apart
don't play with my heart

Not One But Two

Written By: Deborah Wyndham

You were mine
and I was yours
Oh you hate to play these games, I'm sure
we're haning on, now let us go
I faced the changes, those to you I owed

Come around again
that is what we'll do
and we'll be not one but two

You cried for me, I cried for you and it's gotten my perception all askewed
I know you were hurt, but so was I
broken hearts and lonely nights I don't see why

Come around again
that is what we'll do
and we'll be not one but two

ah, ah ah oh, etc.

We'll soon be there and then we'll know
Sometimes what we need is time to grow
and when the tears have
slipped away, we'll start to see things a different way

Come around again
that is what we'll do
and we'll be not one but two
and if you need a hand
I will see you through
