"Anointed Woman of God"

Debra Hunter is truly an Anointed Woman of God. The bible clearly states that your gift will make room for you. Her gift as a singer as well as an evangelist will not only fill the room God is making for her, but will open a door to greatness as well. Praise Project 2007 is filled with songs to bring Victory and Restoration to the body of Christ. So “He that hath an ear let him hear” what the Lord is saying through this Anointed Woman of God. I am looking forward to more powerful and inviting music to come from this true vessel of honor.

"Smooth Jazz"

Great to hear from you! I like the "smooth jazz" flavor of your music. It's very laid back, and not like any worship music I've heard before... In all of the track samples your vocals are very strong.
the entire mix sounds good. All-in-all you have a very good recording. You are a blessed and gifted vocalist, and those tracks showcase your talent very well.
God bless you.

Bio

Born the oldest of six children to Deacon James and the Late Evangelist Dorothy Richardson, in Jamaica, New York, Debra was anointed to sing even in her mother’s womb. She is the loving mother of five children – AJ, Dashawn, Lashunda, Denasia, and Daria. Debra attended Andrew Jackson High School in Cambria Heights, New York, majoring in music. She continued her education, attending Queensborough Community College, majoring in Business Management in Marketing.

Born and raised in the Church of God in Christ, Debra received the Lord in her life at the age of 17, under the anointed teaching of Bishop Jerome and Mother Joni Norman of Full Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ, in Jamaica, New York.

At the age of nine, she joined the choir, and a few years later led various songs. In her endeavor to sing praises unto the Lord, she realized that the gift God had given her was missing something. The gift was missing the Anointing. Debra asked God to anoint the gift of music, because it is the anointing that destroys the yoke. Now she sings under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Debra has sung in various groups and choirs: Eastern New York Jurisdiction State Choir, under the direction of Elder Timothy Wright, United National Auxiliaries Convention (UNAC) choir, of the Church of God in Christ, under the direction of the Late Mattie Moss Clark and Twinkie Clark, Faith Ensemble, Full Gospel Mission COGIC Youth and Young Adult Choir, Minister of Music-Beth-el Temple Ministries, and Center of Hope Ministries Praise Team.

Licensed in 2002 as an Evangelist, Debra has served in ministry as Assistant Pastor at Beth-El Temple Ministries, Assistant District Missionary in the Barnesville District, Pastor’s Aide President at Proctor Village Church of God in Christ, and Youth Minister at Center of Hope Ministries, just to name a few.

In November of 1995, Debra and family were in a terrible accident while on their way to the Church of God in Christ Convocation. God spared their lives with minor injuries. About five years later, on April 20, 2000, her life was turned upside down. Her Mother and Sister were killed in an automobile accident. Debra body was numb. That day was the worst day of her life, but it was also the best day of her life. It was the day that her Worship, became for real.

The Lord desired to know, in the midst of all of the hurt and pain, did Debra Love Him. Definitely not understanding how this could happen, she expressed the true love that she had for Daddy, as she affectionately calls God. The devil meant it for bad, but God meant it all for good.

Never pursuing the Ministry the Lord had given her, through music, Debra had always kept singing on the back burner. In December 2006, Daddy spoke for the last time concerning her ministry, to do what He had commanded her to do. The mandate from God left Debra no choice, but to obey His voice. Evangelist Debra Hunter favorite scriptures are Psalms 27 magnifying verse 6 and Nehemiah chapter 4.
