Lyrics

Prodigal Son

Written By: Debra Y. Harvey

My Prodigal son has gone away
He is living in the fast lane
I pray and pray for my son to come home
As I looked back over his life, I wonder what I’d done wrong.
My friends told me that you did the best you knew how
Now it’s time for me to put it in God’s hands

My prodigal son please comes home
I have been waiting for you
I pray everyday that you’ll find your way
Prodigal Son come home

Now It hurts any mother when her child has gone astray.
Sometimes I can’t find peace while he’s away
but the Holy Spirit keeps telling me
That he’s in control don’t worry, just leave it in his hands
God said he’ll never leave
He said cast my care on him
So I’m not going to worry I’ll just keep the faith

My prodigal son please come home
I have been waiting for you
I pray everyday that you’ll find your way
Prodigal Son come home

I’ll look to the hills from which cometh my help
He knows all about what your going through
I’m not going to worry, I’ll just keep the faith
And know that your Prodigal son is coming home, coming home

I’ll just keep the faith and never doubt no
My prodigal son is coming home
I’ll keep trusting God to help my son find his way
I know my prodigal son is coming home (2x)

I’ll keep believing in Jesus
My prodigal son he’s coming home
I’ll keep trusting God
I know my prodigal son he’s coming home
Everything’s going to be alright
I know my prodigal son he’s coming home
My faith is in Jesus Christ
I know my prodigal son he’s coming home

Thank You Lord For Being with me

Written By: Debra Y. Harvey

Thank you Lord for being with me
You are always there and I so grateful
Thank you Lord for saving me
Now I will be with you forever
and I just want to thank you Lord

You took my burdens and cast them all away, you care for me each and every day. You’re moving me to my rightful place, delivered me with your saving grace.
I won’t be afraid to step on out there, your taking me to higher level. Sometime I feel like giving up, but I won’t worry, I know you right there.

Thank you Lord for being with me
You are always there and I so grateful
Thank you Lord for saving me
Now I will be with you forever
and I just want to thank you Lord

You said you’re with me ‘til the very end, Thank you for your faithfulness on you I can depend. With you, I know I have life, life abundantly. You open many doors for me, I thank you for your favor. Everything I need is in you, you’re always right there to see me through.

Thank you Lord for being with me
You are always there and I so grateful
Thank you Lord for saving me
Now I will be with you forever and I just want to thank you Lord

All things are possible if you just believe, just have that faith, the size of a mustard seed. Trust in the Lord and never doubt, he’ll be right there to bring you out.

Thank you Lord for being with me
You are always there and I so grateful
Thank you Lord for saving me
Now I will be with you forever
and I just want to thank you Lord (2x)

Thank you Lord for saving me
Thank you Lord for keeping me
Thank you Lord for delivering me
Thank you Lord

Thank you Lord for loving me
Thank you Lord for caring for me
Thank you Lord for believing in me
Thank you Lord

I Trust Him

Written By: Debra Y. Harvey

I was in church,
shouting and praising,
hearing all the testimonies,
of God’s many blessings.
My life
was still in dismay.
That’s when I found out, I didn’t trust Him.

Still crying because life was so hard,
wondering why prayers were being discard.
Feeling like a dark cloud was over my head.

I didn’t trust Him
Through the years of hurt and tears,
I didn’t trust Him
Through the pain and all my fears,
My life, was still in dismay.
Because I didn’t trust Him.

I heard the voice of Jesus say,
Trust in me child and obey
Trust in me with all your heart
I will give you a brand new start.

I finally let go
and let God take control
Now I trust completely in him
And he brings me through.

So in everything I do
Even when I’m going through
I trust him
Through the hurts and tears,
I trust Him
Through the pain, no longer fears,
my life has been changed
Because now I trust Him

I trust him
Through the hurts and tears,
I trust Him
Through the pain, no longer fears,
my life has been changed
Because I trust Him (2x)

My life has been changed
Because I trust Him

That's What You Are To Me

Written By: Pastor Roland Pollard

"THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE TO ME"
(music & lyrics by: Roland Pollard, Sr.)

(1st verse)
Without you Lord, I just can't make it through.
Without you Lord, don't know what I would do.
How can I live one day without your touch.
Just the though of not having you Lord is just a bit too. Lord, You're
my way ...

(chorus)
You're my way when I can't find my way home.
You're my hope when it seem like all hope is gone.
You're my friend when I'm feeling like I'm all alone. All alone.
You're my Savior when I know that I've done wrong.
Lord you love me and you'll never leave me alone.
All of this and much much more - that's what you, what you are to me.

(2nd verse)
Lord, you're my friend when all my friends are gone.
And you're my strength when I just can't go on.
And when I was sick, and I could not get well,
Lord you healed my body, and right now I can tell ... you're my way ...

(bridge)
How can I thank you for all that you've done for me Lord?
You made a way, out of no way. You were right there!

(ending)
How can I thank you? Just wanna praise you. I've gotta raise you
higher Lord. (2x)

Can't nobody do me like Jesus (he's my friend). (2x)

There's not a friend like Jesus. No. (2x)

Nobody. (sing as directed)

You Did It Just for Me

Written By: Pastor Roland Pollard

"YOU DID IT JUST FOR ME"
(music & lyrics by: Roland Pollard, Sr.)

(chorus)
You gave up your life, you suffered on a tree.
You hung, bled and died, you did it just for me.
You paid and awful price - you died on Calvary.
What a sacrifice, you did it just for me.

(1st verse)
I don't know why you love me so, when all I do is hurt you more.
Still you were there to take my sins, and give new life over and over
again.

(2nd verse)
What can I do to show how much I appreciate your love for me, your
healing touch.
No words can tell of your sacrifice. So the least that I can do is
surrender my life.

(bridge)
Jesus I love you so. Thank you for changing my life, for your ultimate
sacrifice.
I just want you to know, that I'll forever, ever, ever give you praise!

(ending)
Oh, precious is that flow that makes we white as snow.
No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus! (sing as
directed)
