Offically founded in 2006. The New Jersey Based Deception Theory has been through many changes and trials but unflinchingly continues to spread their no holds barred brand of metal prowess.
Straight out of the gate the band gained the road dog reputation by aggressive promotions and relentless live shows. The words spread quickly and Deception theory is now known as a must see live act by extreme music fans in many circles. Deception theory continues to hone their craft in the live setting and killing east coast crowds with both headling dates and supporting many modern greats like Texas in July, This or the Apocolypse, Catalepsy, Viscous Circle, Full Blown Chaos just to name a few. The band is celebrating and pround to announce the recent partnership with the US based Inner Light Agency for full managerial representation and artist developement. As things continue to proffessionally advance for the band they are demoing new material and preparing for the release of their next studio effort rumored by some to be "The next chapter in metal." deception Theory is claiming theirs catch them live and you'll see why everyone is talking!
