DECLAN PALMER

The story begins one Christmas morning when under the tree Declan Palmer found an el-cheapo Mexican strat from Santa! Declan took to it like a duck to water and it wasn’t long before he was jamming along to his outer-space musical heroes on the stereo, think George Clinton and co, getting happily freaked out by their oh-so-wonderful weirdness. Next stop, a Flying-V guitar for his sixteenth birthday ,vocal pyrotechnics on the microphone a-la Steve Tyler, and a keyboard and cosmic search for those forgotten elusive sounds of eighties’ summers.

Back to the future again and listening to his contemporaries Declan’s knows there’s one piece of the puzzle still missing: where the hell has the party got to ?

He finds it!!! Having turned eighteen and now working in nightclubs (you name it he saw it) Declan finished his shift and headed out to more nightclubs , revelling in the wee hours world of the freaks and the weirdoes ! His night-owl adventures became the subject matter of his music and so he set about creating a sound-track and celebration of it.

Armed with inspiration , computer , keyboard and Flying-V and along for the ride a sly grin, a keen eye for teenage foible and a healthy dose of devil may care attitude, he bunkered down in the bedroom and set about creating his mad world of not-so-make-believe party machine music. And so Born For The Nightlife made it's way into the world.

POPJUSTICE , the UK's numero uno blog site gave the lead track " SINGLE OF THE DAY " and called the album " A BIG BRILLIANT PARTY RECORD ". Not bad for a bedroom bazooka!

Next stop, no more Antics just Declan and a new e.p is just around the corner.
