Bio
Decoupage is an up and coming brother-sister collaboration that styles upbeat quirk to deliver pop sophisms on travel-related misadventures, dating disharmony, flailing relationships and life's shifting fortunes. Singer, songwriter and key-player Eilis Frawley leads the band with her brother Patrick supporting on bass and vocals. Channelling her experiences, both real and imaginary, Eilis delivers blissful pop tunes with cheerful, catchy melodies and strong harmonies.Stevan pavlovic (Tuba) and Gina Chadderton (percussion and vocals) fleshing out the unit with atmosphere and rhythm, giving body to the Decoupage experience. Their musical style was established as a full band through filling out the original offbeat piano compositions channelled directly from the imaginary world in which Eilis lives.
Though relatively new on the Adelaide scene Decoupage boasts members who have been working independently as musicians for the past five years; both Pavlovic and Frawley are graduates of the Elder Conservatorium, of which Chadderton is a current student. The ensemble has played successful shows at the Grace Emily, The Jade Monkey (28th of Jan), Adelaide Fringe Festival (2nd March)the Exeter Hotel (15th April, 3rd Dec), Crown and anchor (20th May) Ed castle (9th Sept) and the Metro Hotel (29th Sept)
