"From the Fields of Boaz" - EP (2006)
"In A Relationship" - Oct. (2012)

Breaking News: Dede Swint has changed her status!

This Atlanta based artist grew up in church and comes from a musical family. From her first solo at the age of four, to youth choirs, to leading praise and worship as an adult, this wife and mother has been on a journey to express herself through the themes that matter most in this life. Dede’s solo career started in 2006 after recording her EP "From the Fields of Boaz" in East Nashville through an insightful learning experience. Her singing style is similar to early Sheryl Crowe and Sara Groves.

With this current project, "In A Relationship", she was joined by producer Oats. Other studio musicians included Todd Olsen (The Waiting), Brock Evans (drums), and Bethany Dick-Olds (strings). Featuring tracks with memorable lyrics such as “40 Cents” (an anthem about trust), “Really See Her” (a pop/country song about a woman’s struggle), “You Just Make Sense”, a duet with Adam Courtney, and “Take Me” (an inspirational song about hope). After finalizing this album through a family accident, the future is certainly bright for this ultra-authentic storyteller.

“This project is all about relationships. Relationships fill our lives and make them worth living…In ways I could have never imagined, all of them have shaped my life and made me who I am today.” Sharing her life experiences through simple messages of song, listeners will certainly be drawn into a collage of the human heart.
