Bio
We play music for the love of music. For the past 10 years we have lived, full time, in our tour bus and travel where ever the music takes us. There is nothing we like better than looking out and seeing our audience dancing and patting their feet.
We spend every winter playing in the Texas Rio Grand Valley then, during the summer, head north to find other opportunities to perform.
Lloyd plays guitar and sings, while Peggy plays keyboard/synthesizer, harmonica, and sings. We have been involved in music together for over 25 years.
We normally perform as a two person act but, upon request, can bring in additional musicians for your event. However, in most cases, you will be pleasantly surprised with the richness of the music from our standard arrangement. Peggy plays a very high quality Yamaha keyboard/synthesizer and skillfully brings in the sounds of many other instruments such as bass, drums, steel guitar, sax, even a full orchestra if needed. We stay away from backing tracks to avoid the karaoke trap so many are falling into lately. All of our cover songs are done to our own personal arrangements and we also perform some of our original music.
Another thing that sets us apart from most other bands is that, as long time Austin residents (the live music capitol of the world), we are exposed to scores of Independent Artists who play the local Austin scene. We work some of this unique music into our set and audiences seem to really appreciate the new material.
