"Deep Heat Review"

"...Deep Heat's songs capture a passionate urgency and are backed by a fiery but cohesive percussion/ bass unit. While mention of the band's pedigree is warranted, Deep Heat operate as their own entity, one that smashes it apart in a live context. Punky, punchy and fun - Deep Heat, a Melbourne band to watch." - Tim Scott (RRR, The Thousands, Mess & Noise) - Bombshellzine

Bio

Featuring member's of Boomgates and Infinite Void, Melbourne's Deep Heat trade off the energy and melody of early Wipers with the angsty ardor of mid 90's bands, creating an urgent wiring of raging post-punk, garage and dark indie rock. Recorded recently while on tour in the US by Steve Roche (Off Minor, Saetia) at Philadelphia's Permanent Hearing Damage Studio, 'New Design' is the follow up to the band's 2011 'Low Lights' EP and is set for release March 11th via Poison City Records.
