Deep in Grace

Deep in grace got off to a roaring start in 2007 when after only two practices as a band took second place at a regional Battle of the Bands competition. Just imagine what they could do with more than two rehearsals! A strange meeting of parts of other bands led to the combination of characters that you hear today. The band believes that their finding each other was truly divine intervention as none of the people that brought the members together are now associated with the band. When the last piece was needed, a singer, a co-worker’s daughter was pitched as a candidate. After hearing her on a DVD, they were sold, and invited Chrissy to their next practice. The members were a bit worried that she came to the practice, and sat through over 3 hours of music and never sang a single bar. Thankfully, Chrissy returned the next week with new songs, lyrics, and the voice that the boys had heard weeks earlier. Now over two years later they are going strong with a powerful set list of mostly originals written by the members. The covers that they mix in come from sources such as The Cranberries, Guns and Roses, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles just to name a few. They work hard to concentrate on providing a great live show. Deep in Grace is currently working in studio on their first self titled LP that has a planned release date in December. Just in time for your holiday shopping!
