Growing up in the streets of Atlanta has not always been easy for the young rap artist, but doing music since the age of thirteen has always come natural. Moving down form Cincinnati, Ohio when he turned twelve due to an tragic death in the family really put life in perspective for him. He really wasn't sure what he wanted to become until moving down south. After watching his older cousin and peers take a stab at doing music really influenced him to pursue his gift, and see where it would lead him. Influenced by many genres of music, has a very big impact on his whole and insight of hip-hop and the future of rap music in general. Dee Young knows the influence that music can have on people lives no matter bad or good times. Through his trials and tribulations he has found that there is music for every move or calculation you make on a day to day basis, so he tries to make sure that everyone who listens can relate to it. There is not many people he does not connect with, and he uses that to encourage the youth to follow their hearts if passionate about pursuing music, or anything that helps them become better people.
