Deezy Slim, "Da Slave State Veteran" is the hardest working artist in the south. Deezy Slim has been in the game since 96' but has been putting out music since 2002. Deezy Slim and Cold Cannons had their video"Shake it like a Pitbull" on bet uncut in regular roation. Deezy Slim "Hood Status mix cd's one of promotional sucesses. He started off writing poems as a kid until he turned oned into a rap one day.Thats the day he became addicted to writing music.Saving his money and going to local studios and recording tracks and passing them out.That linked him to a promoter is his area.Deezy and the promoter then started building an indie label called Mastermind records.They started producing records and putting them into record stores etc.Deezy started opening up shows with major artists like Trina,Uncle Luke,Da Brat,Pastor Troy etc.They also had a video in rotation on B.E.T's uncut for 2 years called "shake it like a pitbull" with Deezy Slim and Cold Cannons.Eventually when things slowed down Deezy started his own label called "Dust House Records".Which also have his own roster of artists.
