New York City bred Rock band Defaze was created in September 2006 by (Singer, Songwriter, and Guitarist) Rob Defaze. Since 2006, Rob wrote, arranged, recorded, and performed all instruments to roughly 50 demo tracks and began shopping the songs to producers for the future upcoming album.
After a trip to Fox's American Idol, Rob Defaze teamed up with Producer Roee Star, Mixer Daniel J from (Against The Wall / VMM Records) and drummer Tomer Ram to record the first full length album titled The Recreation in Upstate New York. The full-length debut consists of eleven hard hitting rock songs that shed every emotion from pulling your aggression to leaving you at a harmonious ease. The Recreation is available May 3, 2009 on:

After leaving the studio, Rob Defaze teamed up with Andres Concillio (drummer), Raphael Guedes (guitarist), and Thomas Buchmueller (bassist) putting together a new face of Defaze bringing an intense, powerful live rock show. Rob’s singing draws comparisons to Chad Kroeger of Nickelback while the music will wet your taste buds with the likes of Seether, Daughtry, Hinder, Breaking Benjamin, and Staind. The band has since been touring and playing out live in support of the upcoming album, has drawn attention with radio play of the new single's "Not Giving Up" & "You & Yourself," and is stirring a huge buzz on Myspace with over 100,000 plays.
