Bio

Domingo DeGrazia blends Spanish guitar styles with the passion and flair of Flamenco guitar technique. His playing is as rhythmic as it is percussive, often coupling dynamic Spanish rhythms with vibrant Latin, Salsa and rock drum beats.

The DeGrazia Spanish Guitar band boasts professionalism and 20 + years of playing and performing experience for each member. Domingo DeGrazia carries the role of front-man and band leader while Grammy nominated artist Jim Pavett brings percussion and live drums. Lead guitarist Dustin Jones rounds out the core of the band with guitar playing Spanish guitar that easily moves between exotic and soulful. DeGrazia is proud to announce the addition of violinist, Beth Daunis to the band line-up for truly captivating performances.

Domingo DeGrazia is an Arizona native and the youngest son of famed Arizona artist Ted DeGrazia. Domingo has become a recognized guitarist and song writer known for blending Spanish, Latin and Flamenco styles. Although Domingo brings more than 20 years of playing and performing experience, he follows his father as being somewhat of a renaissance man. Domingo holds college diplomas in aeronautical science as well as law, is an active pilot and is a former motorcycle road racer.

With professional sound equipment the band can easily play small venues or integrate into amphitheater and arena sound systems. Self-sufficient within the United States, the band is also fully mobile and can travel anywhere in the world and deliver a memorable performance.

The San Carlos CD was written by Domingo DeGrazia and features nine musicians on guitar, violin, bass, drums, percussion, and vocals. The CD was recorded at Allusion Studios in Tucson, Arizona. The CD is DeGrazia’s second CD under his name and follows Domingo’s solo classical guitar CD, Calendars, released in 2003.
