Lyrics

Simple Man

Written By: John Tulli

Verse 1
Six a.m. and the alarm clock rings
One more morning and another dream
Have come and gone
And I carry on
I fumble around cause the house is dark
Make my way outside and I start the car
And the skies still grey
But I'm on my way

The streets all look deserted
The traffic light stays red
Wishing I could turn around
But driving on instead

Verse2
Through my window as the morning fades
One more day another dollar made
And time goes by
While I'm stuck inside

Four p.m. and now I'm almost there
Turn the clock, I try not to stare
As the second hand rolls
But it goes so slow

The ride home seems to take so long
But I don't even care
I turn the music up and I tell myself
I'm almost there

Chorus
This is what I'm living for
These four walls, this front door
And what's inside
Yeah, it's all mine
A little place with the one I love
Some quiet time with the lord above
Somewhere to hide
From the world outside
I ain't got no fancy plans
Things look good from where I stand
I'm a simple man
I'm a simple man
I'm a simple man

Verse 3
So when I lay me down to rest
And count the ways that I've been blessed
There's so much more
Than I could ever ask for
I look around at what I've got
To some it might not be alot
And I realise
I'm one lucky guy

The nighttime moves so quickly
Flying like the wind
Blowing me right back to square
To do it all again

Chorus
This is what I'm living for
These four walls, this front door
And what's inside
Yeah, it's all mine
A little place with the one I love
Some quiet time with the lord above
Somewhere to hide
From the world outside
I ain't got no fancy plans
Things look good from where I stand
I'm a simple man
I'm a simple man
I'm a simple man
I'm a simple man

Unbelievable

Written By: John Tulli

Verse 1
As we lie here in the dark
I hear you breathe I feel the beating of your heart
It takes my breath away

How you fill me up inside
So many things you do that words just can't describe
So much I need to say
But sometimes words get in the way

Verse 2
So many times with pen in hand
I've tried to write it down to help you understand
But words don't mean a thing

And so I don't hold back too long
Know that in my arms is right where you belong
The love you bring
It's the reason that I sing

Chorus
It's unbelievable
Your unforgettable
So undeniable
That your incredible
It feels like a dream
Lying here next to me
My every fantasy
Your all I need
Oh It's Unbelievable
That you, Believe in me

Bridge
I know alone I would have never made it through
You took this tired heart and made it feel brand new
A hundred roads I drove but all they did was lead me back to you.

Chorus
It's unbelievable
Your unforgettable
So undeniable
That your incredible
It feels like a dream
Lying here next to me
My every fantasy
Your all I need
Oh It's Unbelievable
That you, Believe in me
It's Unbelievable, that you....
Your al I need
