We are Delightful Downfall. A new hot rock band with pounding music with good clean vocals! We are different from the regular scene and We can entertain a variety of audiences! Adults, kids, teens we have what your looking for!

Biography

We are Delightful Downfall. We play rock music, but we are very diverse. We cover Classic Rock and we are a very family friendly band. The band consists of; Mike Kehoe (Vocals/19), Nick Barelli (Guitar/17), Jake Pechtold (Guitar/15), Joe Hammond (Bass/18), Steve Eldridge (Drums and Backup Vocals/15). Currently, we are making a name for ourselves in the South Suburbs of Chicago.

We started March of 2010, even though we are young and we haven't been together for that long. We are moving quickly, playing places that many bands have never played and getting recognition from many older and more established bands. In, July of 2010, we played main stage at Congress Theater in Chicago. We received many good comments and much needed experience. Then, only a week after, we opened up for Chicago's #1 Classic Rock band, ARRA. They are now mentoring us, and helping us get our name known. Since then, they have let Steve, our drummer, and Mike, our lead vocalist, join them on stage with over 2,000 people in attendance. In addition, we have opened up for national acts Taproot, Modern Day Escape, and Blue Felix (Side project of Sid Wilson from Slipknot). We have played the Metro in Chicago on The Next Big Thing Tour! We are accomplishing a lot of things in a short amount of time!

We are a clean Hard Rock band from the South Suburbs of Chicago! We combine heavy music with clean singing in a way that hasn't been done in modern rock!

Slither

Written By: Velvet Revolver

Hey Hey Hey

When you look you see right through me
Cut the rope, fell to my knees
Fallen, broken every single time

Always keep me under finger
That's the spot where you would (sue) me
Might see some type of pleasure in my mind

Yeah, here comes the water
It comes to wash away the sins of you and I
This time you see

Hey hey hey

When you seek me you destroy me
Rape my mind and smell the poppies
Born in blood in every single time

Always keep me under finger
That's the spot where you might linger
But I see some type of pleasure in my mind

Yeah, here comes the water
It comes to wash away the sins of you and I
This time you see
Like holy water
It only burns you faster than you'll ever dry
This time with me

[guitar solo]

When you look you see right through me
Cut the rope, fell to my knees
Fallen and broken
Every single time

Yeah, here comes the water
It comes to wash away the sins of you and I
This time you see
Like holy water
It only burns you faster than you'll ever dry
This time with me

Hey, hey, hey

Animals

Written By: Nickelback

I, I'm driving black on black
Just got my license back
I got this feeling in my veins this train is coming off the track
I'll ask polite if the devil needs a ride
Because the angel on my right ain't hanging out with me
tonight
I'm driving past your house while you were sneaking out
I got the car door opened up so you can jump in on the run
Your mom don't know that you were missing
She'd be pissed if she could see the parts of you that I've been kissing
Screamin'

[CHORUS]
No, we're never gonna quit
Ain't nothing wrong with it
Just acting like we're animals (animals)
No, no matter where we go
'Cause everybody knows
We're just a couple animals (animals)

So come on baby, get in
Get in, just get in
Check out the trouble we're in

You're beside me on the seat
Got your hand between my knees
And you control how fast we go by just how hard you wanna squeeze
It's hard to steer when you're breathing in my ear
But I got both hands on the wheel while you got both hands on my gears
By now, no doubt that we were heading south
I guess nobody ever taught her not to speak with a full mouth
'Cause this was it, like flicking on a switch
It felt so good I almost drove into the ditch
I'm screamin'

[CHORUS]

No, we're never gonna quit
Ain't nothing wrong with it
Just acting like we're animals (animals)
No, no matter where we go
'Cause everybody knows
We're just a couple animals (animals)
So come on baby, get in
Get in, just get in
Look at the trouble we're in

We were parked out by the tracks
We're sitting in the back
And we just started getting busy
When she whispered "what was that?"
The wind, I think 'cause no one else knows where we are
And that was when she started screamin'
"That's my dad outside the car!"
Oh please, the keys, they're not in the ignition
Must have wound up on the floor while
we were switching our positions
I guess they knew that she was missing
As I tried to tell her dad it was her mouth that I was
kissing
Screamin'

[CHORUS]

No, we're never gonna quit
Ain't nothing wrong with it
Just acting like we're animals (animals)
No, no matter where we go
'Cause everybody knows
We're just a couple animals (animals)
So come on baby, get in
We're just a couple animals (animals)
Get in, just get in
Ain't nothing wrong with it
Check out the trouble we're in
We're just a couple animals
Get in, just get in

Kryptonite

Written By: 3 Doors Down

I took a walk around the world to
Ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sands of time
I watched the world float to the dark
Side of the moon
I feel there is nothing I can do, yeah

I watched the world float to the
Dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be something
To do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend at the end

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well, will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite

You called me strong, you called me weak
But your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times I
Never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head, if
Not for me then you would be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with my
Superhuman might
Kryptonite

Take Me There (Original)

Written By: N. Barelli, S. Eldridge (Delightful Downfall)

If I had something to say
Would I say it the right way?
If I told you that I'm okay
would you believe me anyway?

Now the time has come
I gotta push through the hurt
Its that time again
I gotta push through the pain

**Chorus**
If I could run away, run away
Somewhere far away, far away
I'd go there, go there
Take me There

Lets just run away, run away
Somewhere far away, far away
Lets go there, go there
Take me there...

I never heard the screams within
I didn't know the pain you were in
There's finally some peace inside
With no more tears to cry

Now the time has passed
I gotta push through the hurt
Yeah, it's that time again
I gotta push through the pain

**Chorus**
If I could run away, run away
Somewhere far away, far away
I'd go there, go there
Take me There

Lets just run away, run away
Somewhere far away, far away
Lets go there, go there
Take me there...

*Guitar Harmonies*

Take me, Take me there!
