When you listen to Delinda Layne’s new single, “YOU ARE!”, you will hear a woman who was born to sing.
Her talent was evident at an early age when her father coaxed her into singing for friends and relatives, however, her first 'official solo' was in her Junior High Youth Choir at church. She continued to shine as a singer and went on to pursue her passion and her talent at Louisiana College, a private Baptist college, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music.
Delinda is versatile in her style and is able to move easily from Classical to Broadway and from Standards to Country. Her classically trained voice, has given her the opportunity to perform some of her favorite roles in operas, such as the Queen Mother in ‘The Magic Flute’ and ‘Madame Butterfly’. Delinda has traveled the world performing and connecting personally with her audiences. Recently, Delinda Layne was a featured artist at the Missouri Gospel Announcers Guild showcase in St. Louis, MO., where she wowed the audience with a preview of her new single “You Are.”
Whether it is sharing beautiful melodic tunes at Weis Church in Germany, leading a local congregation in praise and worship at her home church in Las Vegas, or providing lively and fun entertainment for the family, Delinda loves to share her passion and the message of joy.
Her contemporary new single, “You Are”, is an energetic orchestral tune that is uplifting and inspiring as it proclaims the names of God, and draws you into praise. Listeners are treated to the power and the joy of the connection Delinda experiences with God. Delinda’s hope in sharing this song is that it will inspire you to joyfully experience God.
This CD/Single is currently available in digital format with a physical release at a later date. She is currently planning a Southern tour in the spring of 2011, and is available for booking.
