Della is a solid rock band hailing from Denver, Colorado that is fronted by a female powerhouse vocalist. The singer (Amanda) has a very distinctive voice that will literally separate this band from the tons of female fronted bands out there trying to make it.
This band writes great songs and we can see them having a solid chance of breaking thru..they just need to continue writing great songs and working hard and of course not give up in the process.
Check this band out folks…you won’t be disapointed!

Also fronted by a female, Della thrilled the hordes of people at Stoney's. With vocal stylings both gritty and feminine, singer Amanda Hawkins pulled on your heart strings in all the right ways. - Cory Lamz - Westword
"Overall, the set showed that Della is a local Denver band to watch. The semi-final round of Westword’s Best of the West will most certainly be filled with some great acts, but on Saturday night Della proved that they can hang with the best of them." - Harrison Garcia - Examiner.com
"In a vein similar to that of the Battleship Agenda, Nautical Mile and Speakeasy Tiger, Della offers polished, female-fronted power pop that's about as radio-ready as it comes. Led by the soaring vocals of Amanda Hawkins, this feisty quintet is poised to break out on the strength of an absolutely killer two-song demo featuring "Anymore" and "Not That Simple (Things I Do)," both recorded at the Blasting Room. It's an impressive followup to the act's self-titled five-song EP from 2009. Catch Della on Saturday, February 26, at the Gothic Theatre." - Dave Herrera - Westword
