Delrose

Bitten by the travel bug, Delrose decided to follow her heart of exploring the world. Little did she know that her journey would make her discover another passion…..her love of music.

She first got the taste of being on stage as a backup singer for a '70s cover band in Osaka, Japan. She then made her way to the front of the stage as one of the vocalists for Dee 'N Ez trio. Being in a band gave her the chance to jam with other musicians and improvise a little bit more. Like all good things, her Japan experience drew to a conclusion as she set off on her next adventure. Australia & New Zealand await, so Delrose sold everything and took off with her backpack and a journal.

It was within a few months of her travels she realized she was missing her guitar. She picked one up at a thrift shop in Brisbane and has been without it since.

Dubbed as "the girl with the guitar" by fellow travelers, she sang wherever she could. It didn't matter who was listening. Inspired by the places she's seen and the friends she's made on her soul searching journey, Delrose began to write. Songwriting came out of her travel blogs and journal entries.

Delrose eventually found her rhythm back on Canadian soil. Currently, she is in the open mic scene and a member of The Red Moon Music Collective (a talented network of local artists based in Toronto). She performs at several live venues in and around the city.

Delrose's songs run high on emotion. Her performances are heart-felt and true. Music is her way of life. It is what drives her. After all, singing is her drug of choice and songwriting is her therapy.
