"Deltorers - Plastic Gold"

DELTORERS - PLASTIC GOLD
From the six-track 'Homesick In Indonesia' EP released this week by Bournemouth grunge rock three-piece. Whilst this track lends more towards Nirvana, the majority of the EP is like Slaves taking on QOTSA. Heavy duty. - Little Indie Blogs - Guardian Music

"Deltorers - Honest Policy Review"

My dear dad was never a big fan of profanity - his opinion was swear words were overused.

With that in mind I think this song is fucking awesome.

From the first time I heard this track, it struck a chord - I knew I was listening to something really special.

My humble opinion I know - but having been a self confessed music whore most of my life, I know when I hear something exceptional.

This track builds up into a killer riff that makes me want to jump round the room - grinning like a pilled up Cheshire cat till the vocals build up - reminiscent of Josh Hommes -Queens of the Stone Age.

They then fire back into the same killer riff before a disjointed solo takes us back into the vocals - then there's that chorus.

Back into another solo and then another play with the original riff before a big finish and the singer smashing the crap out of his guitar.

NICE as you probably gathered.

I really like this - in short: it sleighs like Father Christmas

Enough of my waffle just listen to the damn thing and get ready to fall in love. - Chimeo

Bio

The Deltorers are a three piece, alternative rock band from Bournemouth on the UK South Coast. Renowned for their high energy and powerful, catchy riffs and vocals, this band is emerging in the footsteps of bands like Slaves and Wolf Alice, reviving that 90’s grunge, underground sound with a fresh, raw slap in the face.

After being on hold for the majority of 2014 due to being down a band member and having previously made an impression on the Bristol and Australian rock scene, the band are back in full force in 2015 with exceptional front man Nathan Evans, on-point bassist Brenden Frankham and tight-as-you-like, insane drummer Zoot Hill-Valler.

The band have received excellent, recent online reviews by Chimeo and were also featured as Band Of The day by Music Junkie Press. Through the powers of social media, their songs have made it into the hands of radio stations worldwide including in Detroit, Boston and also Canada and London.

After a phenomenal gig at a reputable venue in Brighton, The Deltorers were spotted by BBC Introducing The South’s representative Melita Dennett who offered them the opportunity to feature as their live in-session band during the BBC Intro South radio show on 25.04.2015. The unforgettable performance of the bands two newest tracks ‘In My head’ and ‘She Looks Nice’ are here on the Soundcloud for you to enjoy, along with Melita's short interview with leading man Nathan Evans during the show.
