"High Notes Vol. 2"

"an addictive, foot-tapping experience which will surely have you begging to hear more from this remarkable band."
- Womenfolk.net

"Artsweek"

Deluxe's singer Katrina Skalland sounds like a girl version of the strong but shaky-voiced Bright Eyes. But will every girl in Davis stroll around town in Deluxe shirts holding Deluxe handbags, like when Bright Eyes played Davis last year? With the band's powerful melodies, there is a chance.

"Carry On '07 , but we've got ten"

Mary’s Got Seven but I’ve Got Ten, by Deluxe, is simply a great album. Front woman Katrina Skalland’s jittery, tender-tough singing works brilliantly with her accomplished bandmates’ music, a driving, grrlish blast of surety and surprising changes. How, for all its hooky energy and emotional presence, is there not a single misstep here? Wow. - Sacramento News & Review
