DEMETRIUS LAWSON,also known as "Dee", was created to worship God. She is truly a chosen vessel with a ministry as a psalmist and evangelist spreading the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. Her unique and prophetic sound is sure to usher in the presence of God. "Dee" is a former member of the nationally known group, Gilead, who has been showcased at many venues such as for Sisters Only, hosted by Atlanta's top radio station V103; The Black Expo, hosted, by Atlanta's top Gospel radio station Praise 97.5; and the Sweet Auburn Festival, just to name a few. They were featured artist on several TV and Radio talk shows including, The Ordinary People Show, hosted by Annette Wright; Praise Discovery Show, hosted by Gospel sensation, LaTae; and TV 57's Gospel Showcase. In addistion, they have had the pleasure of opening for gospel greats like Shirley Caesar, Candi Stanton, and Daryl Coley, and more. Gilead has also had the pleasure of being background vocalist for Darinda Clark-Cole.
Keep an eye and ear open for this prophetic Vocalist. Her debut Cd entilted "Praise You Lord" written and produced by Hutchinson House holiness Label, is sure to enter many homes to heal the sick, mend the broken hearted, and set the captives free.
