DETROIT, MI – In his first solo recording, pianist/producer DEMETRIUS “Krayon” NABORS is stunning the music industry with his independent release “A JOURNEY WITHIN, PT. 1.” The project’s first single “CROYDON ROAD” (featuring trumpeter Lin Roundtree) debuted last week on BDS/Billboard Magazine’s Smooth Jazz Chart at #22, climbing to #21 this week, and commentators anticipate will continue rising. The track also made its inaugural appearance on the SmoothJazz.com Indie Chart at #38, and #8 CHARTBOUND on the global radio site’s main chart.
