Demo Delgado – Live and Learn (Official Video)
JUNE 4, 2013 BY SUPERMANDUDE

Demo Delgado is a conscious reggae artist not new to the scene but who has only created big ripples now and again. Despite working with some of the biggest reggae, dancehall, and rap/hip-hop artists in the world, his solo work has for the most part gone unnoticed, however in 2013, he’s jumped into the scene and it appears his time may have come!

Check out his official video for this rootsy reggae banger “Live and Learn”.

His roots take him back to Kingston, Jamaica, where he was born and raised, rubbing shoulders with Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer, Wayne Smith, and Elephant Man, all established and recognized stars in their own right. Collaborations on tracks “Enemies” and “Metal and Steel” with Wayne Wonder on the No Holding Back album helped get his name on the map, however without a solo album it has been hard to gain concrete following and international recognition.

Demo has been working endlessly to change this and is currently in the studio working on his solo studio album. Bless up Demo!

Catch a glimpse of his upcoming masterpiece right here!

Bio

Reggae recording artist Demo Delgado was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica.

He grew up in Seaview Gardens, the humble starting point of many popular reggae performers. His own talent was nurtured here in the garrison where he began recording at the tender age of 15, and had two radio hits by age 18: "Gal Dem Bebe" and "Dem No Worry We." He also produced professional recordings for other artists.

Demo enjoyed a successful early career writing and touring with various reggae/dancehall stars including Wayne Wonder and Sanchez. He collaborated on Wayne Wonder's crossover Atlantic Records album No Holding Back, co-writing the songs ‘’Enemies’’ and ‘’Metal & Steel”. “Enemies” was a smash hit and was remixed for the album Strictly the Best, Vol. 31. Another song he co-wrote and performed with Wonder, “Baby I Need You”, was featured in the movie SOMETHING NEW. ??

“Live and Learn” marks a new beginning: Delgado’s Rastafarian roots have re-emerged and are showing up in his music and his message. The song is in rotation on on IRIE-FM, Jamaica and KJEE-FM, Santa Barbara. The music video won an Award of Merit from the Accolade Competition and is making waves on HYPE-TV (Jamaica), Soweto-TV (South Africa), 5Sur5TV, (Caribbean and U.S. Eastern seaboard), and soon to launch on Tempo TV (Caribbean, Europe, Tristate area, U.S.).

Keep your eyes on this talented and prolific singer/songwriter – destined to become one of reggae’s finest.
