Denied

To think that Denied almost never existed is just crazy. Maybe it was just being in the right place, at the right time. Or maybe it was fate. Whatever it was, the group was formed officially in the summer of 2000. An almost perfect match of four young guys, sharing similar outlooks on life and music, and all coming from different backgrounds, they clicked and were determined to go somewhere. After a few line up changes, and a whole lot of drama, the thrashy, hardcore punk metal machine that is Denied was ready to contaminate Charlotte’s metal scene in full force.
“We plan to play with any and everyone. There are no basic messages in our music, we cover everything from love to hate to depression. We’re not politicians or racists. We’re not drug addicts but we're definitely not straight edge. We have respect for everyone who writes their own music no matter what genre. No egos here. Seeing Denied live is an experience all its own. Fast, aggressive, chest-pounding riffs deliver straight brutality in the pit, while at times the slow melodic vibes make the skin crawl and the spine tingle. “The great thing about Denied live is that you don’t have to be any certain kind of person to enjoy it. There’s something for everyone in all of our songs. It doesn’t matter if you like punk, Death Metal, Jazz, Rap, whatever. You’ll find something to love in all of it.”
