Denise D'Angelo Jones studied vocal performance at NIU, and began her professional singing career in Nashville, TN at Opryland in the 80's followed by clubdate and session work in New York City. Her voice has been featured on national jingles, children's albums and CD's etc. She was an opener for the Pointer Sisters in Washington, D.C. in 1995 with her original songs. Influences include the Beatles,Carole King, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell, Movie and Broadway Composers of the 30's and 40's, David Frischberg, Michael Franks, Ivan Lins and Jobim. Her choral compositions have been performed by women's choirs all over the country. She and her husband moved to Georgia in 2005 to escape from the New Jersey Turnpike.
