BandRockCeltic

EFB is a collection of seasoned performers that perform either the great rock and roll sounds of the '60's and '70's which highlight their unique talent for three part harmony, Irish music, or their own tunes(which are fabulous). Their sound is distinctive, and accents their unique vocal style.

Biography

Having played together for so long, they now feel that they are entitiled to do whatever the want, musically, and that is to perform whatever music they like. This makes for an enigmatic mix that includes cover tunes of highly vocal songs, (like CSN), Irish rebel songs and ballads, and their own compositions. They are known for their three part harmony.
Currently the boys have three CD's available:
The Irish Record is a mix of rebel and traditional Irish tunes as well as 6 of their own Irish tunes. Some of these recieve fairly regular airplay on Irish music radio stations.
Pop Tunes For Money is a CD collection of all orginal songs that mix in sounds of country, reggae, blues and good old rock and roll sounds.
Amerocan Holiday is their latest CD. It is fabulous.

All of the music is gone

All Of The Music is Gone (Sullivan-Coleman) copyright 2004

It’s a tragedy of momentous proportion
And don’t accuse me of lyric distortion
I’m sure of my finding; there’s no use rewinding
All of the music is gone

I’ve sought it as if I were a knight gone questing
With all of my spirit the search I’m investing
I spin through the dials; but nothing beguiles
All of the music is gone

I’m listening for the words of broken hearts
Or triumphs or treasures and poets endeavors
But all that confronts me is pounding and anger
Now that all of the music is gone

It’s a travesty and a ridiculous notion
To singularly limit all of the emotion
To harping and hating; there’s no use debating
All of the music is gone

Where is Bob Zimmerman or Smoky Robinson?
Or at least an encouragement to revolution
There’s nothing uplifting they’ll find themselves drifting
In a world where the music is gone

I listen for the words when he tells her he loves her
The triumphs and treasures of poets’ endeavors
But all that I’m hearing is sullen or searing
Now that all of the music is gone

I’m aching to hear guitars wailing or weeping
Or triumphs or treasures and poets endeavors
I must journey backward, to the land of the record
Before the music was gone

It’s a tragedy of momentous proportion
And don’t accuse me of lyric distortion
I’m sure of my finding; there’s no use rewinding
All of the music is gone
