Born October 22, 1987, Dennis Lamar Martin, II was apart of a legendary gospel music family. Born to Dennis L. Martin, Sr. and June Pace-Martin (one of the Anointed Pace Sisters), he grew up around music and loved the melodies and became fascinated with drums at a young age. At the age of 15 he began producing. He fashioned his beats around the sounds of producers like Rodney Jerkins, Warryn Campbell, Just Blaze etc. He began to see the lack of enthusiasm in his youth department at church and decided to become a Holy Hip Hop artist to help bridge the gap in his church and so today you have D.LAMAR the artist. The youth he has encountered have all flocked to him and he has shown them Jesus through his music.
