I have about 30 original songs, but I have not yet done any finished recording.
My music is meant to be played live and the energy of the audience is a vital part of the results. I have yet to find the perfect venue in which to record a live show of the quality I want....
ADDED ON 3/24/2010 :I've been messing around with some more home recording which I think is a little better,but still not what I want.I'm putting a new version of "BOATS IN THE SKY" on today which was done with what I call the "Bonehead Light" set-up.This is rhythm guitar and bongos on the looper,and lead guitar and vocals in real time...no overdubs....I can do this live on stage.

After several years playing congas and singing backup,I wanted to start writing songs and singing lead. So,at the age of 47 I learned 3 chords on the guitar and wrote my first song.
As I progressed and started playing gigs I missed playing my drums so I started designing the apparatus with which I could add drums to my act by simply tapping my feet.After about 5 years of experimenting I came up with the design I'm now using.
My musical influences range from Hank Williams to U-2.My all time favorite band is Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young.My favorite song writers are Bob Dylan,Tom Waits,and Townes VanZant..
