Debut EP "Wolf at the Table"
The single "Catch Your Breath" has gotten airplay on 93.7 KLBJ, 101x KROX and 94.5 the buzz in Houston.

DENTED describes themselves as a freight train crashing through a Guitar Center, and their 2009 debut EP "Wolf at the Table" would do little to prove otherwise: think Queens of the Stone Age only half the weed and twice the whiskey. Started in 2003, singer Mike Dent strung together an original 3-piece. After touring regionally and relocating to Los Angeles, the band eventually cemented Carson Brown on lead guitar, Rich Turner on bass and Kevin Abbenante on hat-smashing duty in 2008. Now based in Austin, a fast 2008 left little time for much other than writing new material, touring the Texas circuit and playing on KLBJ's Local Licks Live. Dented kicked off 2009 with the release of their debut EP "Wolf at the Table" and was rated one of Austin's top ten best new bands by the Austin Chronicle. Continually experimenting with both sound and language, no two songs are alike; imagine Rise Against plugging in with the bastard child of STP. Stripped down rock, induced and saddled with lyrics playing raucous and poetic. With the release of "Wolf at the Table," DENTED hit the road with their signature raw and aggressive live show, rocking stages throughout Texas. In January 2010, the band will head back into the studio, teaming up with legendary locals, the Vellejo brothers, to record their "Painkiller" EP. DENTED intends to push the envelope to create the spark that will revive a genre of music that has slipped away in recent years. Rock is not dead, but it's dying to be resurrected.
