A new day and age has shined down on former secular rapper, Denzel Martyr formerly known as BDPilot. As of early 2014, Denzel “Martyr” Martin, has fully embraced the mantle of becoming a Christian Rap Artist. With full anticipation of releasing his debut project, Denzel Martyr is ready to spread the Gospel through every talent that has been bestowed upon him.

In 2012, after the tragic loss of a close friend, Martyr came back to Christ wholeheartedly with no regrets. He underwent a year long hiatus from writing, featuring on, or even thinking about music. But as he stated himself, “But God”, there was no denying what the good Lord had in store for him. Martyr experienced a heavy calling for his return to the microphone, but this time for the purpose of God's Kingdom. With a new agenda and anointing over his life, Denzel Martyr is standing firm in the word and ready to spread his God-given gift to the world!

Aside from his music, Martyr is an Active Duty Service Member. Currently, he has only served one 7 month tour overseas in the war against Iraq. He is also a husband, father, entrepreneur, and founder of his own up & coming Christian Clothing Line, XC:91 Clothing.
