Sacramento's own Journey tribute band, DEPARTURE, is coming to the Capital City Hotel(old Clarion) on Jan 10th at ZIGATOS BAR & GRILLE. Show starts at 9pm with a $10 cover at the door. ZIGATOS is located at the corner of Auburn Blvd and Fulton. If you're a Journey fan, you don't want to miss this show! Tell all of your friends. "We hope to see you there!"

Departure Band's music can be heard on www.myspace.com/departureband where demo clips, pictures and a blog, etc. have been loaded. Clips were also featured on the "Eagle Radio 96.9" for upcoming shows. Demos are available upon request.

Bio
Departure got it's start through a Karaoke contest where Frank House was found singing Journey songs. He was offered the opportunity to form a Journey tribute band with professional management. Through local ads and word of mouth, Frank found Andy (guitar) and Ron (keys), while Andy found Martin (bass) and Jeff (drums) bringing the team together in September of 2008. All members are professional musicians with over 50 years of combined musical and entertaining experience, talent and drive. The "true to life" vocals, "live" and "studio" sound and energy of the band sets them apart from other bands that offer a similar product. Professional equipment, sound, show, wardrobe and etiquette is incorporated to insure the success of every show. The band's influences range from 70's to current music but with a love and focus of paying tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time...Journey.
