Derik Washington is a singer/songwriter currenty based in Philadelphia, PA.
Derik has been a musician since age 12, as a saxophonist, singer, and songwriter.
Derik loves all kinds of music, and enjoys exploring different genres in his writing. Derik has written Gospel, Pop, R&B, Adult Contemporary, Dance/Club, and Hip-Hop songs.
Derik is a creative and positive lyricist. His words often leave you encouraged and inspired; to learn from mistakes, be better, do better, and live up to your full potential. And some lyrics are just plain fun and cool!
Derik loves to sing. He has a solid falsetto, and he can belt out powerful melodies that will no doubt resonate with listeners long after he has finished singing.
