Derrick Wayne, coined "A Giant Amongst Men", is Louisiana born and an astounding Hollywood comedian who also has strong credits in film, TV, and theatre. Derrick was tagged "A Giant" not because of his enormous sized DIC......TION, but because he's bigger, badder, & bolder than other young up-and-coming comedians. He hosted his own comedy show in the heart of Hollywood "The Comedy Café" and has featured and headlined at world renowned Hollywood venues such as The Comedy Store, The Icehouse, & The Hollywood Improv. Derrick Wayne has worked on over forty acting projects including "Mind of Mencia" on Comedy Central. Some of his films like "Dark Town" with Lions Gate Films have enjoyed runs at prestigious festivals like the Sundance Film Festival. He has also performed in front of as many as 6000+ people at the Redlands Amphitheatre. To add to his accolades, this “Giant” has a background in hip-hop dance and choreography, and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology.
