Bio
Coming from legendary underground bands from the 90's (Escarbarme, Hueco, Grito y Epitafio), Desarmado was born in august 07. Musically, Desarmado is along the lines of 70's and 90's hard rock bands: That means that it's a hard-postgruge-alternative-stoner band, though with al lot of musical and lyrical influence of mexican rock musicians, and to a less extent, of world music musicians, including traditional mexican musicians. Lyrics combine existentialism with political commitment. Desarmado is different in the sense that it is specially concerned about writing profound lyrics, either philosophical or political, and it performs a post-colonialist and post-nationalistic rock, in the sense that the music, the lyrics and the show are neither eurocentric nor chauvinist.
